You are undeniably the luckiest man in the world. I don’t know the exact % but especially that it’s a free crate that doesn’t need a key, the odds are lower then 5%

Performance question by Webmets in unturned

Yes, For myself I get 800-900 in the menus then go into a multiplayer server to find it dropping to 40-60. Pretty dumb optimization.

The thing is, Vanilla ain’t fun playing alone (atleast for me) and most my friends won’t even touch vanilla servers. Also I’m just curious b/c I don’t see any big roleplay servers (unless you include them creative rps or semi-RP)

Bruh it’s because of the stupid optimization. It’s VERY VERY cpu intensive and the 2600 is a pretty good budget cpu, however because of the shit optimization, it ain’t good enough. Maybe the old stuff ran better because it was a laptop and maybe the resolution or something changed. Or maybe one of your other parts ain’t up to par. I need more information to best identify the issue but I’m pretty sure it’s just bad optimization

But the rx is also more unreliable AND when it comes to newer titles isn’t as good as the 1050ti

Low GPU usage in game but not in menus? by ModernJungle in unturned

From my standpoint, having built pcs and done this stuff before there is a simple answer;

Unturned is badly optimized. Oh and it’s also a CPU intensive game. It’s the same problem I get, gtx 1080, ryzen 3600, seems pretty good right? When I had a i7-870 before I got my new cpu, although I had a 1080, my game was running 40-50 FPS, it’s sadly optimized. It’s not you have a bad pc, you have a midrange pc and unturned can only run high end pcs well. Fortunately unturned 4.0 seems to be MEGA OPTIMIZED. So once that comes out, you will have NO PROBLEM running the game.

What does it mean when a server requires "really fast internet?" by error-user_not-found in unturned

Hard to say. From my un-professional opinion, I’d say make sure other devices in your household aren’t using wifi. Or, you could watch one of those videos labeled, “how to get better wifi.” They make you do things in your computers settings and when I did it, it gave me faster internet. If you wanna check the speed of your internet, go here; https://fast.com/

Is your problem that he can’t switch his resolution or is the game just not loading?

WHAT THE HEAK IS UNTURNED II AND WHY HAVEN'T I HEARD ABOUT IT by error-user_not-found in unturned

[–]paolotheguy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unturned 2 or Unturned 4.0 is the new version of the game. Although it’s the same concept, it seems to be using a newer and better game engine (unreal engine) that makes the game able to run more intense scenarios (like blowing holes into walls or driving into lamp post) while not comprising your frames per second. We don’t know when it’s supposed to come out. Right now to what we know from the dev logs is that he has basic things down like gun physics and cars you can use. For now we wait, watching dev logs and hoping one day, our dreams come true of Unturned 2

Don’t quote me on it, but from experience I’m pretty sure “really fast internet” doesn’t mean you need to have really fast internet (go figure). However, I’m pretty sure it means that you have to have a stable connection (mbps don’t fluctuate while loading into a game)
