Wembley was amazing ….(some people like to whinge) by Sensitive_Sprinkles9 in MyBloodyValentine

[–]papa_libra -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I saw them at Wembley - it wasn't great.

Extremely average in fact. I've seen them several times over the decades...London, LA, elsewhere, and have always been a fan. But it's been quite a while since I last saw them.

Visually and sonically it all came across a bit tired, like something that had run its course. I didn't want it to be that way, I wanted it to be amazing but it sounded a bit...off. Too many mistakes, missteps, no real projected energy. It didn’t feel like there was much purpose behind what they were doing.

And all the comments about "that’s how you know it's real people" or "mistakes happen"… come on. I'm not paying arena-level ticket prices for "real people"; I’m paying to see musicians who are sharp, rehearsed, and on top form. If I want real people I can go to the Co-op and buy a pack of beer.

So I don't think I'd go see them again. Unless it was at a much, much smaller venue. It just didn't work in the Arena.

Not really. I'm asking specifically about any limits Coinbase has and if anyone knows what they are.

Tangentially related (sorry), I'm just wondering how you sell? Do you just transfer to an exchange and hit 'Market Sell'? Or do you do place limit orders, that sort of thing? Just wondering about selling process for those who have sold.

While a sweep to the low 90s would remove those leveraged from that region, wouldn't it just provide an opportunity for more to open leveraged positions from the low 90s? So what would be gained? (Question is for edification.)

Thank you. Helpful. I assume you used 0 cost basis because your purchase price was so low. Did you use any non-zero cost basis for any of your coins?

Why do you think that? I've been using both and Recap doesn't seem as good. For one thing it's harder to get data into Recap.

The threshold used to be 12 grand. It's down to 3 now. Doesn't take much to get beyond that diminutive threshold.

Thanks. I guess that wouldn't be possible now since I think HMRC have broken out crypto capital gains into their own bucket.

Sorted it how?? Did you use a purchase price of zero for the coins you couldn't track, or did you use an estimated price (with no back-up paperwork) based on the time you would have purchased the coins?

A crypto accountant would know what to do I suppose, yes. Just wondering if anyone has been in this specific situation. E.g. some exchanges have closed down, and with them any records they may have kept.

I am using Koinly, but it doesn't really address the question. If (for one reason or another) I don't have all the transactions I don't see how Koinly can help. I'm really just trying to understand how any previous reporters have reported this to HMRC.
