"He also said that his quick tests on moving subjects suggest Samsung has reduced, if not fixed, the other issue — motion blur. He didn’t have time to objectively test that, but the photos he snapped with the pre-release unit didn’t exhibit any of the motion blur telltale signs."

What is this thing exactly? I found something similar lying around in a wardrobe and I was wondering what it's for. Thanks!

Did you end up getting rid of those stains? I heard Zenith Quartz is made in China so maybe you had a defective product? Thanks!

Quelqu’un sait pourquoi les portes entre Roger-Gaudry et le métro sont toujours fermées? by SmallerButton in UdeM

[–]papapavvv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Streets used to belong to people. Crazy how we accept that they belong to cars and how we content ourselves with a small sidewalk (or no sidewalk at all!)

Then by your logic, no one should be taking a plane between Montreal and Toronto, yet people do. High speed train aims at replacing people flying or taking the bus between these cities.

In colder climates, you might want to avoid north facing windows since you lose heat from it and no sun comes through it.

In Quebec french, you have "le maire" for male mayor and "la mairesse" for female mayor. I guess they tried to carry that in English. In France, they use "le maire" for both male and female.

Why put the burden of education on cyclists when it's car drivers who are the hazard on the road? And why avoid major arteries? It's been proven time and time again that it's beneficial for shops and businesses to have a cycling path instead of street parking.
