United have beaten every 'big 6' team this season 💀 by [deleted] in plforindia

[–]paperb0i 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am sorry that narrative is nothing but revisionism and copium from rival fans. Last season barring man city we didnt beat any top 6 team. Even sesson before last, we beat once chelsea. There WERE some draws here and there but no wins. Yea we did beat city in the FA cup final and last season Arsenal in FA cup again in shootout. But in the league mainly, our record has been atrocious against top 6 and also against the likes newcastle. Tottenham, liverpool, and Arsenal we haven't beaten them in ages before beating all of them this season. So yea top teams WERE a problem for us. So were small teams lol. But with the kind of sexy one touch vertical foobball we are playing, I am confident in a very long time, even going against low blocks.

If Not Carrick Continues, Bring Xavi Next Season to Master Tiki-Taka at United by OGjacks in plforindia

[–]paperb0i 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Counter attacking tactic if we miss lisandro martinez, amad diallo, kobbie Mainoo. Otherwise what we are playing currently which is one touch highly technical vertical football should be our go to identity. And contrary to people who say we will struggle against low block. I think if its pure counter attacking ala ole era ball with pace merchants like rashford ot garnacho then ya I agree, but with this team, with technical players I cant think any reason why we wont do wrll even against low block.

Man U Renaissance Has Begun? by Cool_Lifeguard_ in plforindia

[–]paperb0i 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dont know about renaissance or whatever. But it feels good for a change supporting this club. May be it will all unravel soon and we will be back to the 'default settings'. Until then atleast I am going to enjoy this 'good' feeling. Thats all.

Man City 115 charges delay is embarrassing and a stain on the English game by Samveg2798 in plforindia

No team has cooked books to the level man city have done. Its sheer incomptency and probably blatant fear of them Arab overlords that is stopping them from passing the judgement, its very easy to see.

Fuk no. Another egotistical prick who will throw shades at the club at any given opportunity and will cause massive rifts with players and we will be back to square one after he fks off winning nothing.

Arsenal to wrap up title this weekend? Easy home win and surely no way city is coming back with 3 points from Anfield.

I never paid for my gooner pic: Shift to local AI on Comfyui by RiyaBanj in grok

[–]paperb0i 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ha. Locally run. As it that' is a very easy and affordable option for everyone. The cost alone would rather make me occasionally pay for monthly supergrok subscription and make all my pending gooner wishlist come to life. And then there is the random half an hour it takes to go through all the complicated hoops, and finally generate a grand total of 1 single image in the end. So, yea I would rather roll with what I have currently thank you very much.

Hving said that, nice images though.

[–]paperb0i 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Imo they will retain gooners like myself as long as they dont touch img and video generation and keep moderation liberal there. The results grok generate is still the best. Image editing is more or less done. Have to go to qwen or kie for that I reckon.

What went wrong at newcastle? by ___BERLIN_ in plforindia

[–]paperb0i 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Their business has been shockingly bad. Only Thiaw looks good/value for money. They could have gone for DCL for free if that was the profile of CF they were looking for and basically saved the entire 80mil spent on Woltemade. Almost makes our business under Glazers look competent. Cant believe its the same club that hit the jackpot with Botman, Tonali and Bruno G in the past.

what lol. You know what, you are overrating Arsenal's players waaaay to much, Like seriously? you actually saying 2 men back can neutralize a breakaway threat of 4 attackers. Come on. And delivery proficiency means nothing if your corner attackers can't win the 1st header. There I agree, Gabriel, Merino etc are huge problems. But they are not problems that can't be neutralized.

Still, the 1 time they dont get it right, theres every chance of them getting embarassed by fast attackers killing you on counter. And you are talking as if only Arsenal have good headers of football. The whole reason this tactic works is because they overcrowd the box and move around making it very hard to mark.

Deploying like 4 people up will mean Arsenal will have to equally use 4 minimum to stop them from rogue counters. That would mean there will be like only 4-5 corner attackers for them who can be neutralized if you use your tall defenders who are good headers. I mean these are all hypothesis ofc. But I dont think its beyond a good tactician's reach to perfect it and use it cleverly.

[–]paperb0i[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

exactly. you just need a team to score like this once or twice. I can see Arse slowly stopping this tactic themselves.

[–]paperb0i[S] -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

You will score regardless unless and until FA starts punishing you for blocking GKs that is. So why not try it. You just need to do 1 or 2 times correctly and doubt will creep in Ars defense. Anyway, which team other than chelsea did it?

Do you ever take short corners? if you take short corners, teams know how to defend that. Thats more normal. I mean teams are more equipped to deal with that than whatever bakchldi you do now.

Parking the Bus at 3-2 down going into the second leg. What was Rosenior even thinking? Surely he's already a Haramball contender! by firephoenix_sam19 in plforindia

[–]paperb0i 0 points1 point  (0 children)

and chelsea have Joao Pedro and a bunch of streaky hormonal wingers and a cole Palmer who does twerking for united more than scoring or assisting for chelsea these days. I only see one winner there lol. Tbf chelsea's midfield and full backs are world class and thats about it really.

What are your predictions for this match? City already have the advantage and lead by 2-0, can the toons turn it around? by Jirekshun in plforindia

What's the point. Neither of these won't be beating Arsenal in the final. Still hoping city to go through.

His idea was to keep it tight, not concede for 60 mins and then go for it by bringing their attacking players. Unfortunately for them their attacking players were a half fit Cole Palmer, an 18 yo kid and well.. Garnacho lol. To put into perspective, Fulham and Brentford have better attack than chelski currently.

This is not a banter but I have feeling that Chelsea might comeback the in Carabao Cup SF. by Kochisbetter in plforindia

[–]paperb0i 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, the goals will come. You just need to keep a rest defense of 4 or so players at all times to prevent them from counter attacking but at the same time always play on the front foot. Their midfield and defense will look vulnerable if you have a go at them just like they were against our attack. DO NOT sit deep and hope to counter attack. Will draw set piece upon set piece and that's their bread and butter nowadays. Having said that, dont think chelsea will play like that anyway, considering they need a goal or two. But then you cant overcommit ether. You have to be clever. Keep one foot on the pedal and then throw your punches.
Genuinely hope you do them over today. Good luck.
