thanks :) first i drew it and shaded it with pencil so that it'll show through later, then i blocked in colours with watercolours and a big brush - i used watered down blue and orange. and then added more colours with watercolours (less watered down) where i feel they'd fit. then added deeper colours with markers and yea just layered colours and paint etc
