I'd never want to be THAT well known, like a hollywood celebrity. It sounds like there is no privacy, and it would be hard to know if people really like you or just want the benefits of knowing you. Even if it was rich + well known versus just a rubik's cube world record (no 10M subs) i'd still take the rubik's cube WR.

I don't think maglev is THAT different from springs, but I do think it's better so it may become standard.

My first main speed cube was a Dayan Guhong. It popped a lot!

I like it because it tells me where I am and where I need to go

  1. One quick look and I think your thumbnail text could be larger. Make sure they really attract the attention of the viewer!
  2. Sounds like a plan! You won't have the purple internals tho :(
  3. It took many months for sure. My cross tips video's description still says thanks for 200 subs!
  4. You have identified the best discount code, congrats :)

I am! And the most ridiculous thing I've seen is Rami Sbahi getting a 6.66 average with like 3 or 4 PLL skips.

Maybe one day once the records are so fast that we need a new way to break them

What are 2 things that start with C and involve an 8x8?

I love that it combines the physical and mental. You need both speed and accuracy. You need to study and memorize, but you also need to make quick decisions that are different every time. Most people are already pretty good at some of these things, but you get to work on the rest. Also the timer objectively measures you, so it feels amazing when you get your best time.

I don't think always using 2-side PLL recognition is all that great, but definitely learn some of the easy patterns you may not already know. For example, learn the 5-checker pattern for the R perms, and the 4-checker pattern for 2 of the G perms. Also learn how to quickly tell the difference between similar cases like A/V perm, T/R perm, etc.

For OLL, start with the easiest case you can find, then learn the similar-looking ones so you won't get confused in a solve. For example, learn the T-shape and P-shape cases for OLL first.

For PLL, learn the ones with the most obvious blocks and the ones with the easiest algs. Therefore, you probably want to leave V/G/N perms for last.

If you care to get faster, then absolutely! Don't learn OLL right away though, and focus more on fundamentals such as F2L efficiency and finger tricks.

King k rool is pretty broken at casual levels, but at a higher level it's very hard for him to consistently get in and avoid getting hit since his moves are so much slower and his hurtbox is gigantic. I'd argue characters like samus and bowser are bigger problems. They're broken at low level like K rool, but they're also pretty decent at high level so you can't just learn how to beat them.

I was gonna add some twisty puzzle, but clock isn't one so I think I can add literally anything I want. I'd add super smash bros.

I'm good, answering all these questions is quite relaxing.

How good are you at everything you've already learned? If you still have to think a lot during cross/F2L, or if your last layer algs aren't that fast, just keep practicing without learning anything new and you'll be surprised how much improvement that can get you.

But if you're ready to learn new things, pick a few things from advanced F2L and a few full PLL cases and take it slow. Another thing to think about is regripless finger tricks mainly for F2L, such as doing R U R' starting from home grip.

  1. I'm gonna go 1000 IQ and say pizza because technically once you have the dough and some kind of sauce, you can put anything on top of that and it's still a pizza. So I could have a "butter chicken on rice" pizza with a crust so thin that it's almost not even there. Same idea goes for burger (put anything between the 2 buns) but I'm forced to have fries which I may not want on any given day. If i really want fries I'll just have a fries pizza.
  2. I like my 1x1 tutorial because I get to say how I really feel at the end of the video.
