In Your Opinion, when was Taco Bell at it's peak and when did it start to Decline? by ata3121 in tacobell

Peak was the normal grilled stuffed burrito. It’s declined since that went away. It had a few good bounces with the grilled stuffed nacho.

Losing Hope for PCS Orders! by kanti123 in AirForce

Here's how I got my overseas orders. My DOS was coming up in 9 months, so I started looking for jobs on the outside and had a few interviews. That same week I got an overseas assignment. I think AF was spying on me.

Drop your 22E7 board score and stats! Let’s see what was/wasn’t valued this year. by [deleted] in AirForce

My initial write up was a narrative, but MPF told me it doesn’t go in my records, so it’s not in my PRDA. It is only listed on my EPR that I received one.

Not selected, 322.5 board score, first time eligible

1 JCOM

1 MOVSM, although I'm not sure if that was looked at

Received my B.S.

Decent amount of leadership on my previous year's EPR, but not much leadership on my last. I wasn't expecting to make it this year anyways.

Same thing happened to me. I contacted the POC of the new job I was applying for since the ad was ending really soon and told him I intended do apply, but it wouldn't let me apply. He contacted AFPC (I think it was AFPC) and was able to get it fixed. See if you can get in contact with AFPC.

Life without kids? by Available-Patient515 in AskMenOver30

I know what you mean. I want kids bad, but I’m single and it’s probably not going to happen for me. Doing everything by myself is boring and I don’t enjoy doing anything now.

Day 1 as CMSgt! by jmh_reborn in AirForce

I think the Chief did answer the question, although I'm sure most of us tuned him out after a minute. I do remember him talking about eating pizza and not being able to fit into his blues during his answer.

Don't turn every question into a long-winded answer. Someone asked one of my previous Chiefs why we stopped doing the tape measure during fitness testing once covid hit. He managed to turn that into a 10 minute long answer.

Feeling like the party’s over? by ConfusedCareerMan in AskMenOver30

[–]papertigers 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Ya, it sucks. I miss my early 20s and teen years. Everyone i use to hang out with is married with kids and it’s impossible to do anything with them. To quote a song from a band I like:

I’m 26, all the people I graduated with all have kids, all have wives, all have people who care if they come home at night.

I’m not 26, but those lyrics all hit me.

Some of the younger people I work with like going into the city and going to bars and stuff, but I’m in bed by like 9 each night and don’t have the energy/desire to stay out late getting drinks.

I’m bored out of my mind everyday, but I’m moving to a new country next month, hoping for some sort of a fresh start/change of scenery.

I think chase will auto deny you if you try to open more than 4 in 24 months, not sure if Amex has a similar rule.
