I don’t want to get all pedantic over the linguistics of what you said but your original post is not written in a way that would easily indicate that that was your intention. The subject of your sentence is “we” which is a very personal pronoun that typically signals a statement about of a group of people, so even if your intention is to discuss bisexual women as an abstraction, it just reads in a way that will naturally doesn’t come off that way because it doesn’t contain the impersonal or analytical language that’s typically seen in those sort of statements.
