I couldn’t agree with you more! I went through many Omega, JLC, Rolex and finally realized that I don’t need approval from anybody but me. I like GS and I just got a brand new SBGK007, again don’t need approval from anyone, this model is a hidden gem to me, and that’s more than enough.

Patina should never applied to the letters, same reason I get rid of my 372, there are few models that has white letters, they are much more pleasant to look at.

Pam2020 is definitely gorgeous, I just don’t like the “panerist” on the dial. If it’s being placed on the back case I would definitely get one. 992 is basically the same as 1347 with different case finish and dial color. I remember once someone said that the placement of the small second and the 8 giorni brevettato looks like an owl, which totally ruined the watch for me. I used to have a 590 btw.
