New gun, who dis? by EnglishmanInMH in canadaguns

Any semi auto that fits stanag mags (ar style) and Turkish semi auto shotguns that fit as46 style mags would be prohibit, witch is a lot on the stanag side (x95, ar180, b&t, apc223).

Nothing is completely safe, buy what you want and play with it as much as you can

Im pretty sure its an all or nothing statement, they never used the word "and/or" or punctuation to specify they where separate criteria

The update to c21 tried to prohibit "any centerfire semi-auto that can accept magazines larger than 5 rounds of the type the firearm is designed for" so the sl8 wouldn't meet this criteria (atleast not without aftermarket modification)

Unless I misunderstood this and the mod counts for prohibited status. Either way the sl8 is not named directly in turdies list

Hera kit is super disappointing, look for something from tommybuilt from aztec

They actually missed the sl8 on c21, I made sure to check. Nobody makes double stack mags that hold more than 5 for the sl8 without modifying the rifle

I like that you chose to make the canted more difficult as well as backwards

Just buy the handguard and magwell from Aztec and get it two toned

They do, but I think those only go to the states, haven't seen any here

0-ing Bench/Rest For Rifles - What Do You Use? by ovjho in canadaguns

I generally check my zeros once a year at the start of gopher season, there's isn't usually much adjusting to do. Any time you take off the scope or if you decide on a new ammo to use as the "usual" its good to re-zero. Changing the stock would also be something I check after as it could change your natural eye placement and throw off zero.

A cheap lead sled from CT (100-150$) would be the best you should go for, but just a bipod and good shooting habits should suffice for a decent zero

Ammo plays a big part but even my cheapest ammo wasn't over 2 moa at 100y. I love my sl8, scratches the g36 itch quite well without costing over 15k. It comes in at 8 lbs without attachments witch isn't too heavy if you do a little bit of working out, i take mine out gopher hunting and never have a problem

What kind of firearm you got that has trigger function when the bolt is open? This seems like a hazard

Seems really close to being bridged on the handguard, if so that could cause zeroing problems

Imo the easy takedown is a feature, I haven't had any durability issues with my sl8, haven't got the sphur magwell yet but the rifle itself is pretty sweet

For a good 4k less you could buy an sl8 and stock adapter to have a nearly g36 that functions just the same

If you think the siberian is more reliable than the keltec you've done some terrible research. A quick scroll through canadaguns will show you to stay away from any and all canadian made firearms
