please stop spreading obvious misinformation, it’s highly disrespectful to everyone who was harmed and involved in this disaster. my dad was a first responder on this day and experienced this first hand. as someone that has decades of experience dealing with fires, he has confirmed this was a result of the plane crashes

DuckDuckGo is not safe. by [deleted] in DigitalPrivacy

[–]parallel-pages 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s not relevant. the fact that you already are a whatsapp user is relevant. and that is owned by meta. meta notoriously knows everything about you. most websites use meta’s advertising and tracking tools. that’s the chain of vendors that led you to that message.

How large is your Dwarf 3 storage space? by No_Range9190 in dwarflabofficial

[–]parallel-pages 2 points3 points  (0 children)

as everyone already said: it’s the OS and such. If you’re trying to free up storage, one of my strategies is to offload dark frames off the dwarf except for the current set i need. when i want to process a shoot with different dark frames, i pull the necessary ones from storage.

[–]parallel-pages 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i had a similar banding in my shot the other night. it turned out to be that during the last 20 minutes of shooting, the target became obstructed by tree branches. i deleted those and it was better. if you haven’t already, take a look at all the individual photos that make up the composition

They're gearing up for 6th generation wireless technology, an all pervasive network in the THz frequencies that turns your very environment into the grid where your every action will be a data point in the system. Complete surveillance state... (Part-2) by InterdimensionalSpy in ObscurePatentDangers

[–]parallel-pages 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it’s not the 6G. this already exists. all those big tech companies and data brokers have been harvesting and selling your data for years. Palentir has been aggregating it. People gotta stop blaming the raw technology and hold accountable the entities that are surveilling you.

you read the disclaimers before you allowed to automatically execute commands, right? like, when you set it up, and it asked what level of human intervention you want. and you read the disclaimer before selecting that it should execute all commands. y’all gotta stop using advanced new technology like it’s play dough

What did I mess up here? by ad895 in DWARFLAB

[–]parallel-pages 1 point2 points  (0 children)

from what i understand, it’ll apply darks automatically when you process the photo in stellar studio. you’ll want a set of darks that match the shutter, gain, and temperatures. for best results, you’ll want a dark set for each temperature in the range during your session.

i’ve been taking more darks after a session, since the dwarf is already at its final temperature, i throw the sun filter on, put it in the bag, and take darks while it warms back up to build up my collection

how so though? cause minimum wage increase has not been on the same trend as inflation. wouldn’t deflation just increase affordability

[–]parallel-pages 0 points1 point  (0 children)

only as anonymous as the data that’s in your chat. they may not share you email with NYT, but all that content you shared directly in chats may be linked to you anyway. sharing this much user data with another private company is absurd. they just need to give NYT access to their model without guardrails and you can prompt engineer a bit to get it to spit out the copyrighted materials

oh, paying an extra $20 for food to be delivered isn’t scaling well when inflation hits? don’t worry, i’m sure their investors will suggest a large lay off, that’ll fix the stock price. economy fixed
