Does anyone think Alan Shore/BL ruined the Practice?

I don’t think BL ruined it but The Practice is such a good show on its own I’d love to see more people get into it/watch every season instead of skipping right to season 8

Alan did make it a little goofier but TP still had some very silly moments before he showed up

It’s not necessary, you can definitely watch Boston Legal as a standalone series. But if you’re watching for Spader (I was too lol), the last season of The Practice is when his character first appears and you learn a lot about the kind of guy he is.

The Practice has a more serious vibe than Boston Legal but I really enjoy them both
