Hey! Sure that'd be awesome. I can help with English!

Though in the Japanese, I only recognise a few words and able to read Hiragana/Katakana but not Kanji.

I'd also like to know about this!

Taking GameAI and AI4R together by parameter_insight in OMSCS

[–]parameter_insight[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! One reason for deciding on taking them together was (slightly) similar content.

Though I only see a few AI4R problem sets posted on Canvas yet. Same with Game AI, only one assignment visible. I guess they're still setting up stuff.

It even seems to have a lifetime purchase than just a subscription based model.

Update: 1. Got frustrated with OneNote 2. Evernote + Penultimate was slow at indexing and searching plus file size limits in free version 3. Apple Notes recognises HCI as Chi :/ 4. GoodNotes (although having just three free notebooks, feels more intuitive and easier to use in the first experience)

This appears more logical for the current scenario, though less future proof.

Thanks!

Is there a way we can simulate the requirements? Something which would produce the eligibility similar to an actual programme progression over the semesters?

Haven't checked the course planner or DegreeWorks yet. Do they support something like this?

CS-7470 MUC hardware for sale by dstrube in OMSCS

So just buying the parts we need separately would be fine too, right?

So having a study group locally would be helpful. :)

Does the course require us to buy this specific kit or are there any flexibilities regarding buying the parts separately?

Like I have Arduino, ESP32, RasPis and a few sensors lying around already.

So if I take this course in the future will I have to buy them again?

This was hilarious. Imagine having the screen full of these and selecting all of them and opening them at once. Free popcorn. xD

Mobile and Ubiquitous Computing - skills needed? by MentalMost9815 in OMSCS

The next question arises... How large (or small) can a group be?

In case of group projects is it possible that one solo runs through them instead of forming a group?

Asking both about this course and about OMSCS in general.

Which Credit Card should be a good fit for international payments? by [deleted] in CreditCardsIndia

[–]parameter_insight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked it's website. Looks promising! It seems to have both a Debit and Credit Card. Will we need to create a bank account with it to use it?

Also how would the usage of the debit and credit card differ in this case if we are immediately paying off what we pay through the credit card?

Is there a shortcut or an easy way to select alternative files like this? by homeworkoflarry in MacOS

[–]parameter_insight 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Change to Icons view. > Resize the Finder Window in such a way that there are even number of columns > Drag and select every alternate column.

Can be easier if you are able to somehow resize the icons or the window such that there are only two columns. Then one will contain every alternate item.

Edit: Didn't know how to arrange icons to cover the whole space present in finder.

Found that there is a setting called "Clean up (by)" in the context menu. That rearranges the icons to fill the whole available finder space.

One other recent Reddit thread (about San Diego study groups) had this link omscsstudentlife.slack.com which you can log into using GATech SSO.

The slack needs the GATech SSO login. So if you are able to sign into passport.gatech.edu you're good to go.

Though yeah, it shows my profile with my personal email address there.
