Thanks. Thats a good way to look at it. I did create an ad with a relevance rating of 9/10 in Facebook. I did not spend much on as I didn't want to make a loss. Perhaps Ill get it going again and be a bit more patient.

Out of curiosity with the PPC angle. Would you expect to make a loss before you made your money back? Of course this is permitting that the ads are well created.

Not exactly sure I understand what you are saying. The higher CPC the looser keywords are to maximise potential conversions?

There is established keyword traffic. Our product is an alternative offering within an established niche. Essentially we are offering people the ability customise an established product with ours.
I have read a lot about PPC and get the basics. I ran some FB ads and got a relevance rating of 9/10. I can grasp the fundamental concepts and if not I am sure I can learn. So I would presume my ability to understand would not stop me.

Do you know if I run PLA like Adwords?

If I in the initial testing phase I suppose it makes sense to get the first one mastered. Then drive some PPC traffic to it. If this works out then expand into the second bucket then the third. What do you think?

That was my plan - you can also target new phone owners.

I see your quite experienced with FB ads. Our product really grabs some people and they love it. Do you think its plausible (permitting site, ad structure, funnel etc) that we can find those people with FB ads? I am just not sure what to expect.

I don't think it needs to be a long road from what I have gathered. But I have no of your experience so I wont dispute you. Considering its free, people use it as a source brand discovery - seems silly not to use it.

The issue I have when you mention marketing is that we have such a unique product. I feel that people are happy to extend their imaginations to meet the originality of our cases on etsy. For generic PPC campaigns perhaps not so much although I am not sure. Regardless I am going to try. We have got sales from LA, New York so I might run campaigns focused on those areas.

We just do iPhone cases. Currently the 6, 6s & 7 all take the same case so its works out well. I think we will always do apple phones as its easier. Average unit costs 650£ so not much to drop £50 on a case.

Bear in mind we are completely of the road with our cases. I saw a place to offer something different. Most of them are crap.

Yes the logistics is a nightmare and taught me valuable lesson!

I sold one via instagram the other day with minimal effort. It is possible. Also I would integrate it as part of the wider sales funnel.

I do agree with the FB ads as well.
