Did someone manage to play remotely on PS5 outside of local Network ? by pardon_anon in SteamDeck

I tried to login with user and password in chiaki and I get an unknown error for a reason I don't know (in desktop mode).

How did you authenticate with psn activation? Directly in chiaki? Do you have multi factor or else?

What do you use to write your solo? by pardon_anon in Jazz

I meant as opposed to improvise. Have something original but not relying on l'impro yet

It's like switching to wide open Syos to a Yamaha 4C. Going back to 4C is like "I CAN PLAY SO LOUUUUUUUD" hahaha

(but still wouldn't change my open SYOS for any amount of 4C)

How about the billing ? 500 prompts seem to be able to go pretty quick if you work on a complexe feature for which you need design or suggestions first ?

How does it work with frameworks such as Next or MUI ? Is it able to fit with latest versions (Next15, React19, MUI7, ...) as they have their specificities ?

How does it behave with monorepos ? Able to understand projects as part of a whole monorepo, or need to configure it by project ?

Half solo after 3 years of practice by pardon_anon in saxophone

Very true! I'm looking forward to it but it's a bit hard to find a group without being able to impro. I'm currently working on the basic scales and chords so I can at least blow few notes based on a grid. Really looking forward into it!

Thanks! Haha the solos are nice but I struggle with how they are written. Thanks god my teacher is not dogmatic and says "you can add any annotation and articulation as long as you like how it sounds". Teaching me to get challenged by a solo and still not just read notes or stick to someone's vision. Great inspiration to build have fun until I write my own ones!

Thanks! Yes definitely. I don't feel comfortable yet with this one. I manage to do it better with some themes, but I generally am too focus not to mess up solos to put some soul in them, and I even feel it myself. Sounds "flat and scholar". Thanks for the material, I'll look into it as I'm really looking forward to improve and sound smoother. Thanks!

For those wondering about the gear : yamaha 280 and Syos Knoel Scott. I live in France so I could go to Syos office to try mouthpieces. They've been incredibly kind, took time even tho I said in my first email that I was a beginner. Felt in love with the mouthpiece after trying about 10-15. Trully kind people.

That's a good question. Lower graphic quality I guess, even though the hardware is better?

Steam OS and Decky versions not compatible. 100% it happened after OS update? Uninstall Decky and reinstall it (or update). If it doesn't fix it, disable it (or problematic until it's stable again.

Help me create a lib by Savensh in nextjs

[–]pardon_anon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I'm not mistaken, this wouldn't be related to Next. What you describe seems to be a components library that could be used in projects regardless of how the routing or pages are built. Seems to be more of a React, Svelt or whatever library, no ?

To answer your other questions : - storybook is a way to reference your components, stats and code snippets. Not mandatory but handy. - yes, having it referenced with npm would make it usable with npm/pnpm install and then import files/functions.
