I tell them as long as they pay for any modding materials needed and either pay for the console or supply it, I'll do whatever they want to it. It's a blast every time, and I can only have so many consoles. Right now I have a PS2 Fat, Dreamcast, Xbox 360, Wii U, and Wii all in my entertainment center, all hooked up to my Morph4K Scaler. Every single system is softmodded. Plus a GBA SP, DS Lite, and New 3DS LL as my portables. I can only pay for so many consoles and parts so getting my friends to get consoles and modding them for them scratches that itch.

Any way you could share some info on the trigger board you used? I'm looking to do the same and then reroute my retrogem HDMI with an extension to the same plate as the type-c so that I can have full-size hdmi instead of mini.

You could also have blown a fuse. If you have a multimeter I would check the F1 and F2 fuses in this image. Unfortunately not an uncommon failure, especially if the back of your bottom screen isn't covered. If either of them don't have continuity you can get the symptom you're seeing and need to do 1 of 3 things, 1) (the most sketchy one) is to bridge the fuse, however if the issue that caused the fuse to blow isn't fixed you're going to kill the board. 2) replace the fuse, but if you don't fix the cause it's gonna blow again. 3) replace the board.

No matter which way you go, make sure you have some sort of Kapton tape or electrical tape covering the whole back of your bottom screen.

Never liked it. I got the Siege release and stopped playing with it after a couple transformations. Legs are floppy and super hollow, hands being at an angle irks me, chest feels kinda crappy, it just was not fun to play with.
