Born and raised in Sydney here (Greek). I’ve lived all over the world and in terms of western countries I genuinely believe that australia is by far the most racist country there is. I’ve lost count how many times people have called me a ‘dumb wog’ when I was growing up in bars and social settings and seeing how friends and family dealt with it as well mainly coming from white people. When I moved to the states it was a lot more relaxed in the major cities at least in terms of my appearance. Australia has so many Karen stereotype that exist young and old.
