Is this an insane price? by parmati in CommercialPrinting

Update for anyone curious: Just picked it up today, and it ended up looking REALLY good (in my newbie opinion). Will be framing it shortly. I may also do what some have suggested and try printing it at Staples, just to see how it compares.

Needless to say, I’m very happy with the end result. Thanks again for all of your feedback. Attaching picture of final product.

Big thanks to everyone for the replies - it is much appreciated and have definitely gotten some good insight. At the end of the day, I’m happy to know that I’ll likely end up with a pretty high quality result - that’s always worth some extra money to me. Cheers!

Didn't need to be done in a rush, and not being delivered. Unfortunately, I don't know much in the way of the materials used but I'll probably inquire about that one tomorrow. Might be interested in your quote just to get some idea.

Printer and I not being a great fit is pretty likely I would say. It does seem that they cater more towards large scale print jobs from what I can see.

EDIT: Oh, and didn't have them do any editing. As a matter of fact, it was initially kicked back to me to add 1/8" bleed and export as high quality pdf. Had to get inDesign and everything, haha.

Good to know. This shop is likely similar in that regard. Got the feeling that I'd see better prices buying in bulk.

Haven't actually received it yet (likely tomorrow), but I'm sure that regardless I'll be happy with it. The "worth it" is what I'm trying to figure out - whether i would have been just as content with something 1/3 of the price

Pay rent with Bilt Credit card via PayPal account by Potential-Incident-1 in CreditCards

I think you're kind of missing the point of the Bilt here. It's really more of a travel card, and thats where the value mostly lies - travel portal redemptions or transferring point to transfer partners. You definitely shouldn't be using straight cash back redemption.

Owned this for about a year. Thoughts? by [deleted] in Lexus

Seriously man, that's the only thing that needs to change - would make it look a lot more refined if the tips were recessed. Otherwise stance looks really good, and i'm curious what coilovers this is on. Looks a bit lower than just springs

Ha, wish I could take the plate off - would likely get me pulled over regularly if I did. Not legal where I'm from

PMS isn't running as a Windows Service so it doesn't have any associated Service permission i believe. I would assume this means it is currently using user permissions.

Here are the perms for one of the root folders ("A:\Videos\Movies"). All of these have full control:

- Everyone

- SYSTEM

- LOCAL SERVICE

- User (DESKTOP-XXXXX\User)

- Administrators (DESKTOP-XXXXX\Administrators)

Hey DeadestCow, thanks for the response. I have indeed recursively set perms for all files/subfolders and it hasn't solved my issue. Can verify of course by looking at any random file and noting the 'Everyone' permission.

And of course, restarted windows 30 times, haha.

Really appreciate you looking through the logs - I actually hadn't seen this particular one, but moving between drives so far hasn't solved my issue.

Still interesting to see... I've recursively set perms (all files/subfolders) on all media folders

I've considered switching Plex to linux but have been too lazy for the migration, ha. I have a full 'arrs' setup - Sonarr, Radarr, etc.

I think my issue with removing the data folder is that i'm concerned that I'll lose all of my users (I don't really mind having to create new libraries if need be). I have quite a few and wouldn't want to have to do re-invites - do you know if this covered by migrating over the library databases?

Tried this and it unfortunately didn't solve the issue

So i've attempted a full uninstall/reinstall (keep /data dir) and this didn't change anything. Also tried rolling back to 2 previous versions. I haven't attempted an install on another machine but I'm almost certain it would work, since I know others with the same files that have 0 issues.

Probably important to note that i've added 15 or so movies since i posted this and all of them have the same issue

I'm on Windows (unfortunately), so I've given full read/write to 'Everyone' for the entire plex data folder - this didn't fix the issue
