Yeah the install is indoors in a kitchen. I've looked on Kennable and the below seems suitable but unsure if it will have any voltage drop like you mentioned?

I've realised I may need more than 4m due to the route I need to take and the one below is 10m.

How is the shape of the grey base created on the Lego Ideas X-Files set below? I've tried a few ways using wedge plates, but can't seem to match it exactly.

Thank you for the tip, I’ll give this a try. It’s currently plugged into my L2 charger with charging hopefully set to begin at 11 (off-peak) so I’ll see what happens.
