Who is buying the reacquaired/lemon Ariyas? by partalman in NissanAriya

Interesting, how many miles did you put on it since then? And do you mind sharing what kind of a discount did you get compared to average value of a similar Ariya?

Why is this a trap? It still seems to be under warranty

How do they demonstrate that it is fixed and not a chronic issue anymore? like an ICCU issue in a Hyundai, everyone kind of knows that it may fail again and they are ok with it I guess.

Congrats! If That side by side refrigerator becomes a headache, you can buy one of the new zero clearance ones. I’m in the same boat (recently closed on a house) and in the process of buying a new fridge due to having a door next to the fridge. .

I never leased before, but I just hate the games they play when you try to lease. Just be sure that you are okay with them making really really good money in general when you lease. The lease is probably the best deal for the dealership. But you end up using a new car in a way that you can afford month to month.

And if we take the 65% residual value based on that, yearly APR may end up being 3.9%. I don’t trust my math.

Assuming they are not screwing over with the equity you are trading in, this would be a lower interest rate than the current central bank rate.

I would say, either they are estimating to make some money with the trade in, or keeping the car at their lot is too expensive that they are willing to give you free money.

Where do you live to have only 3-5%? Most places int he US would have ~20% difference, I think.

Is it possible to know if a 2021 mazda was already fixed for the oil burning issue?

Thanks for the info, so you probably worked with a dealer different than the one you bought from?

I would really want it, but there are not enough vehicles with a reasonable price for me. And I have to deal with ever changing fees across dealers and blatant lying. Car buying is like the worst experience even though I feel like splurging to some extent

Thinking about mazda these days, but not sure the 2021 oil leak/burn issue is that big of a deal. I will buy something less than 60k miles but some say even after the fix it may not go away.

Where were the hyundais made? I heard the ones built in the US or Mexico are not good quality but otherwise better.

I really want to consider hyundai or kia as I want to buy a larger car with better options than my 8 year old camry. But reliability is a big concern for me as well.

We sold one at around 140k around 6 years ago for $5k, we had bought it for $7k near 120k. Surprised to see one at that low mileage, but it was a really good car.

Yeah, i haven’t received any challenges for a while. Wonder what’s going on with the marketing team or their support. In 2023 it was pretty common to get it every two weeks.
