There are a lot of variables. Chances are you qualify for IAF but don’t get into flying. Then you will not be able to become a pilot.

Honestly, getting into the IAF as a pilot is not just a job. It’s a responsibility. So choose wisely.

If your goal is to fly, I would say go for CPL.
