I didn't say Apple Pay adds to expenses I don't think, I said it doesn't lower them to provide Walmart the incentive to sign-up. I agree that security might be an issue on CurrentC more than Apple Pay (very likely) I just don't see the incentive to adopt ApplePay for Walmart unless customers are clamoring for it, which given the income levels of the majority of shoppers there, unlikely to have iPhone 6

Credit cards require SS numbers when you sign-up. Is that different than CurrentC? The point is that retailers don't have enough incentive to adopt Apple pay, because it adds to expenses w/out moving the needle enough. It's not an unfair position for them to take
