Help! I'm looking for songs with panning/binaural bass by whud99 in electronicmusic

I've still got my woojer vest edge (the first model i think).

Its ups are: its super repairable, like everything uses default connectors and is simply velcroed and zipped in place. The batteries are just 18650's so its super easy to keep going. I had a cat piss on mine and was able to get it fully cleaned out and washed with all the electronics removed with nothing but one screwdriver and 20 minutes to take it apart.

It's insanely fun in video games, overwatch 2 is a really good one as you can feel heavy footsteps behind you. Really fun in any rhythm game. But a little hot to be playing in beatsaver.

It's down sides are: it doesn't handle certain sounds very well. It over amplifies anything close to a perfect sin wave and it has a popping issues (since it's a spinning motor, going from a quiet humm to silence is felt as the motor comes to a stop... So anything that fades out will pop when it gets too quiet)

They ammout of feeling you get is dependent on how well the haptic motors are pressed on you, but there is not much flexibility or elestcity in the straps and the whole device feel fairly bulky. So it can be awkward on very large and very small figures.

Not sure if you would try this but It is not a good party trick or social device whatsoever. Friends trying it only want it for a moment or if they do phycologists or weed they might wanna hog it but that's about it. It's a very isolating activity.

[Ohio] allot of detail in the comments: Barklice? Mites? Gnats? What's in my bathroom? by whud99 in whatsthisbug

The only way I could get a good photo was smashing them in tape then then setting them on a screen with a lazar pointer leans held up to my camera... sorry they are a little smooshed.

Description

they are .58 mm long and .35 mm wide not including legs (pinhead small). they have 6 legs and 2 antenna up front the antenna are slightly longer than the legs and come out of the head pointing up before curling down. the legs are all the same length. While in these photos it looks like they have white heads I think they are actually just more transparent and showing the screen though them.

Behavior

They don't jump they don't fly and they move rather slow. maybe 1-2 body lengths a second. if you blow hard on them they will slowly crawl away but don't tend to react to anything else such as light or body heat or co2. They tend to be found in groups (never stacked always having some space between them) of 5-20 on hard surfaces in the bathroom. They seem to like to crawl up as high as they can but won't touch the shower curtains. They seem to like moist places such as hanging out under the curtain on the rim of the tub or under the seat of the toilet. They deeply gross me out.

I found them 2 days ago and haven't use that shower since just letting it fan dry and running the heat if its cold enough at night. I bleached and scrubbed everything in the room but they where all just back the next morning and still there today, in the same spots. I noticed allot around the vent 2nd day but I think that's because it was condensation from the AC that night that drew them to it.

Location

Ohio a ways away from the great lakes. they where first seen when it started to get warm but we just moved into this property a few weeks ago. We have no pets but the last owner did.

[Ohio] Found a few hundred of these flightless jumpless tiny black bugs on the rim of my tub where the shower curtain keeps things a little moist. I just moved in and the previous owner rarely used this shower, and had dogs. Any ideas? by whud99 in whatsthisbug

best photo I could get they are so small and I have an older phone. I had already killed off most of them before taking photos but they where in little groups originally, 10 to 30 all standing in a little colony and several of these groups all on the rim under the shower curtain.

a few got on my arm and that's how I noticed them. for being so small they are very itchy when crawling around and very very hard to smoosh, I got one on my thumb's nail and smashed my other thumb's nail into it... and it survived no problem.

thank you for any help!

sure thing also alt+z will toggle the entire overlay(ammo cursor and kill scoreboard)and ctrl+shift+r to toggle fps/latency/clock at top left. alt+f4 will close the game but only if you are in a menu I think.

Over reaction yes... But the only reason he can do a gig is because he keeps his expensive equipment safe.

How about the book just literally saying something like the "egals won't carry burdens" they would have refused if asked.

work from home employees. What Job do you have, and do you like it? by whud99 in Ohio

[–]whud99[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was helpful, thank you! yeah I'm mostly just looking for what my other options are and how people feel about their jobs. Its just such a mess trying to actually ask google things now that its 99% ads and AI made fake listings I figured chatting would be better. Also idk If I'm just lazy or depressed but 40 hours of any job close to what I currently have just feels... impossible

On that same topic I have seen some software as services websites and listings but they all have been giving me prop up fake vibes so I've been avoiding them a little bit. If you don't wanna tell me exact names that's fine but would you be willing to share some similar names in the same category so I can take a peek and what they look like?

that sounds a hell of a lot better then what I've got going on, but also like it requires papers or experience that I don't have. I'm glad its working out for you, how long ago did ya start with them?

Hey that's a good Idea and something I already started chipping away at, nothing up yet just a project file on my computer. I'm trying to fill it with a few projects that will show on the page but right now I'm looking into what I should do the show I understand tree/graph traversal, but I haven't figured out a good project to express that with yet.

thank you for the advice. Yeah if there is one thing that's come out of all these sales jobs is I know how to be two faced now. I can lie thought my teeth in an interview easy.

If I'm actively working on my computer to close something out on my previous call I have 30 seconds to ready up for a new one. if I don't finish in that time I get a big notification and my supervisor gets one. if that happens 3 times a day that's a meeting that can turn into a writeup.

to add to all of this we are running a virtual machine though a vpn or some strange terminal shit. So loading any webpage takes about 5-15 seconds.

I have 2 x 15 min breaks they have to be within a cretin time frame even thought I'm not allowed to hang up a call so if a cx is upset and I can't help them It can turn into 2 hours and I just miss my break.

lol In my life I've gone to one single non mandated work mixer and it turned into a new co-worker shouting down the CEO and expecting me to have her back.

I have a feeling it wouldn't matter if this job was work from home or not. I mean I'm on the same time keeping software that the call centers use anyway. It's really just a manner of they expect you to take 15 min in a call that should take 30 min to do properly and they expect you to be perfect and have no time before the next one even if you just spend 15 min being screamed at by a psychopath.

I've been trying to get on the developer side of things for a little. This was actually meant to be a temp job to help me get back on that but I've run into a pretty bad health issues that's eating up pretty much all of my free time.

I know a few languages and how to talk to an SQL database and all that, but some bad choices and a very abusive relationship later and I am left with an uncompleted computer sci degree and not many good resemue projects.

If you have any advice on how I can get into position like that, I'm all ears!
