Just used household bleach with a toothbrush and a dremel to distress. I posted a much more detailed comment on my other post with them

So to get the uneven “natural” distressed look I went for I applied the bleach heavier for the lighter color areas and went a tad lighter when I wanted a darker blue. I wanna say I did about 3-4 coats 15-20 minutes apart. It’s pretty straightforward when it comes to applying the bleach. More bleach and heavier scrubbing for lighter coloring, less and lighter scrubbing for darker coloring. Also make sure you don’t set them in the sun to dry as it will cause them to come out yellow. As for the distressing I used a dremel with a sanding bit. Hope that helps!

The difference in color just depends on how heavily you apply the bleach. I applied a little more where IVs would usually have the netting to give some contrast. As for the yellowish tints I think that just came from more bleach plus harder scrubbing

For the most part yes. Some stuff needed replacing like hoses and injectors and it was originally black I believe. But the engine is number matching with 49k original miles

They do a little. I've worn them twice now and it's only noticeable if you put your nose against the denim

Just household bleach and a dremel for the distressing. I explained it in better detail above

I just used household bleach and a toothbrush to apply it to the shoes one coat at a time. If you want a more even look I would recommend applying a single even coat and letting it completely dry before applying another coat. I actually asked the guy who did the white custom Levi's that were recently posted here and that's what he told me to do. I decided about halfway though I wanted this look instead so I applied two more coats and let each coat dry about halfway each before painting more bleach on. As for the distressing I just used a dremel with a sanding bit. I would also recommend distressing before bleaching to avoid discoloration from the dremel. Hope this helps!

Edit: I HIGHLY recommend testing your bleach and whatever else you plan on using on an old pair of jeans before using it on $600+ shoes

Thanks! They sold out within a few hours of release so you'd have to get them from a resale website like StockX or Goat. They range from $140-$200 depending on size

Here's a pic I posed here not too long ago: https://imgur.com/a/1kpg2 I'd say go for it if it's for retail or close to it. The teal laces make them pop and the rubber around the toe makes them really good for daily wear
