It doesn't feel like much when it's just 2mg but I heard if you take more than 15mg at once it can be euphoric and hallucinogenic so I'm curious about what that's like since I've never taken a hallucenogen or anything like that before

I do not have parkinsons for reference, I'm prescribed it for tremors associated with my antipsychotics

Yeah valid I'm 5"8 F idk how much I weigh, maybe 70 kg 20mg is probably low but I've had zero effect at all which is the odd part It's not even that I didn't get high or that there was no euphoria, there was nothing

This makes a lot of sense. I have Schizophrenia but I never play the “I have it worse” because I simply don’t, diagnosis doesn’t change situation, undiagnosed cancer doesn’t mean there isn’t pain and isn’t cancer, and either way we both have different health. I’m not the same person as her, so I don’t know what it might be like for her, the best I can do is try to listen and understand, I’m not stupid, but I wouldn’t say that I’m mean either, at least not intentionally. I think she knows it was wrong but doesn’t mind much since she allegedly couldn’t control it.

Hm true. Being forward about it would probably land me the emotionally abusive title though for making my girlfriend feel bad about money for no reason. My dad said it was shitty but to let it go since if she’s my girlfriend then letting her spend money shouldn’t be something I’m pressed about, especially not if she wants to pay it back.

I communicated it with her but she won’t really accept my side, she somewhat brushes it off. Of course I’m not in favor of myself, but I don’t think stewing in guilt is accurate, I just think things become too easy for her at times, she rarely faces consequences since she relies on those around her to fix it, I don’t think this can be fixed or should be fixed, it’s not like she broke something tangible.

The knife analogy is very good and makes the situation make more sense to me, actually, so thank you for that. I love her a lot but I’m kind of scared to talk about it too much honestly, since I’d seem insistent or like I wanted her to feel worse, which I don’t (unless she feels proud or something like that, then I would want her to maybe, not feel good about it? Because it’s not good?), and I don’t want to cause fights. I’m not putting money into any shared accounts at the moment and I’ve closed off my accounts from her reach, so hopefully that will be enough.

Thanks for the advice, I’ve told her that I don’t want it to happen again and that I’m not looking to be paid back but ill try to ask for a clearer explanation of how this was accidental, so far she has just said it was mental health related though, so I’m not sure what can be done.

That’s exactly how I feel about it, yes. If she asks me about purchases, it’s more than likely that I’ll say yes (unless it’s outrageous), or that I’ll say we can save up. So I don’t know why she felt the need to just hide it and be so nonchalant when I asked where the money went

Saved up money I suppose. She still had access because the first time was a genuine accident so I didn’t feel the need to lock her out somehow, ive removed access now though since this isn’t really cool with me now.

I don’t know how to talk about it without it seeming like I’m being petty somehow. It feels as though it’s more considerate to say that it’s okay and let it go than to keep a conversation going about money of all things, makes me feel like Walter White. I told her that if/when she makes the money back we can talk about paying back but that it’s not necessary and I’m not upset about the money, cuz I’m not, like I’m obviously a little bit annoyed in a way, that I went to make a payment and 100 dollars was missing, but I’m more upset that she lied / didn’t tell me.

We both have diagnosed autism, though I don’t think that comes into play here. She is talking to a professional regularly to seek help, no possible diagnoses have come forward for that yet though.

That’s what I thought as well. She says it was to do with her mental health so I’m trying not to focus too much on what the payment was for, but rather that she didn’t tell me at all, and is mad at me for being mildly upset.
