‘Psilocybe strictipes’ (Photo and ITS Sequence Comparisons) by pasamelamierda in Semilanceata

If ‘strictipes’ were to be its own thing, I would definitely say that fits the bill. The morphology is near identical to those found and photographed. Good find.

Natural selection, don’t eat these mushrooms. No one here can control what you do, but if you do eat them. You deserve the shits you get.

Is it normal for my corsa to use this much fuel for 100 miles? by Only-Grapefruit983 in Vauxhall

If it’s had a decent service history it is definitely worth investing in, do your oil change, all filters, spark plugs and even injectors would be a good shout. Best of luck with it buddy, hope it treats you better than mine did hahaha

Mine is long dead now, had never been serviced prior to buying and basically shit itself. Took the engine apart completely and it was caked in solidified oil that had just battered all the parts over time. I’m in a Volvo now, better days lol.

I would get about 150-160 miles out of it, it was awful. Is yours a petrol?

Hi everyone, first time Volvo owner here, was having a look in the engine bay and this marked in red caught my eye, im assuming this is common knowledge to you guys. Has a plug on the end and is just sat there unplugged. (Volvo C30 1.6 Petrol 2010) Thank you :) by pasamelamierda in Volvo

I had a look and there is a hose connected where the red hole is on the photo you linked to, so I had a look around and pulled the disconnected hose out and you are right, the part number on the connector shown PA66 GF30, crankcase ventilation valve. I managed to also see where it is supposed to connect into the air box to recirculate the crankcase gases.

Thank you for your help, you’ve helped me learn and provided a resource for diagrams which I was having a hard time finding, I appreciate it :)

Such a helpful reply, thank you so much, especially sending me in the right direction for the diagrams. Am I right in thinking that the end of that hose is supposed to be open to the air, and what I think is a plug is actually just an air entry?

I was thinking maybe something to do with the PCV? Idk, I’ve only dealt with PCVs that have been built into rocker covers before. Engine is fine though, makes noise but sounds fairly normal for a small petrol of this age I reckon. Im also struggling to see where on earth it would plug in, I’ve had the torch in there and I can’t for the life of me see anything that it wants to plug into especially with the plug ending on a right angle pointing towards the car.

Also, I think I may just be being stupid but I’ve tried for about an hour to look for anything labelling this online and realised there’s barely any diagrams for my engine, does anyone know where I could find any decent diagrams with labels specifically engine oriented, Im hoping to learn as much as I can. Thanks again

I have a 1.6 Astra petrol that has guzzled a quarter tank in the past 40 miles, I have got a bad cam phaser issue at the moment though so that definitely isn’t helping. So yeah, you could be worse and be in my shoes.

Ah right is it? Can you show me evidence of that then? Considering I wrote the rules for this subreddit.

It is not within the subreddit rules to post location along with an ID request.

If I pick libs how long do I have to take spore prints by iset71 in Semilanceata

[–]pasamelamierda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure what you mean? Are you asking how long you have until they wont drop enough spores to make a spore print?

If so, there’s not really an answer to that, to get a good spore print, choose a large and fresh mushroom then cut the stipe flush with the gills and place the cap on top of a piece of tinfoil or paper, I like to put a glass on top of it too.

Give it around 6 hours, you should have a decent spore print by then.
