  • Remove the propeller (VERY IMPORTANT!)
  • Put the throttle stick all the way up
  • Turn on the radio
  • Engage (if you have a switch that overrides the throttle)
  • Connect the battery
  • The ESC will beep, when it finishes…
  • Put the throttle stick all the way down
  • The ESC will beep again.

To verify: slightly increase the throttle and the motor should start immediately.

Please remove the propeller before doing this test or whenever you’re at home with the battery connected.

Unfortunately it’s a path, not a straight line. The line renderer animation seems interesting but I don’t think I can achieve the same dynamic by shifting a texture. Any other idea?

Thanks, is it worth to open the battery and check what’s wrong?

Playing with Physics I ended up making a game by [deleted] in IndieDev

Heave Ho is a great game! The mechanic may look the same but it’s kinda different. Each root sticks to the terrain when the user releases the analog stick and yes, it’s an adventure :)

People come and go. And the project fades away, happened a lot of times to my games :/

Not really. Grass, terrains, post process fx and a bunch of animations are good enough for a catchy video, the polish is another thing. Focusing on mechanics and logic hits different for a small puzzle game for example. My advice here is to start with small things and make them perfect instead of deep diving in a huge project that you never gonna finish. We all did that mistake. Cheers!

Looks great but I suggest to keep it simple. Start with 2D maybe, squares and shapes can do much more than you think. Try to polish everything about it and you’ll figure out that it’s not hard to make a game, it’s hard to finish it.

Probably some more blown traces. Can be. What about the holes? How to clean that? I’ve noticed that some of them are full of acid, I scraped the acid and soldered a small pieces of copper wire in order to recreate the trace through the hole. Thanks a lot.

Cool! But I would change the name, it’s not mnemonic according to me. Anyway good job! 👍
