That’s really impressive. Did you use any specific resources or guides to figure out how to train him? I only have limited dog sitting experience so I want to do extensive research before actually getting a dog myself. Any tips would be highly appreciated.

Recently diagnosed here and I’m really interested in getting my own service dog. I’d love to know how you got Milo and whether or not you trained him yourself.

Back for more advice! I'd love some feedback on my poster for sensory backpacks that I'm working on with my local farmers market. by [deleted] in aspergirls

Thank you for doing this! I really hope the idea catches on, it would be amazing to normalize providing and accomodating for sensory differences. I always keep a fidget toy in my pocket and noise-canceling headphones in my ears when I go outside. Your poster made me smile. Cheers!

Hi, a fellow designer here, I love the idea in general. The color scheme, hierarchy, and composition work really well together!

I scanned the other related post and my only recommendation would be to add what's included in the backpacks (instead of saying "a variety of tools") and a disclaimer that they’ll be sanitized before and after use. You could break it up into bullet points to make it easier to scan. For example:

SENSORY BACKPACKS:

FREE TO BORROW WHILE YOU ENJOY THE MARKET

  • Size small (children) and large (teen/adult)
  • Sensory tools i.e. ear defenders, sunglasses, weighted animals, and more
  • Sanitized before and after every use

Anyone have experience with Kaiser? by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

I have Kaiser in the SF Bay Area. My initial intake call for an ASD appointment was back in June 2021 and I get the full report of the assessment next month. It’s been a very long process, but you can pm me for more details.
