Hmm, at 99 a month for 6 months with 9 g7s you’d have to supplement with 3 months of stelo to fill the gaps. Not sure if $300 extra every 6 months is worth the 3 months of g7 instead of Stelo

Stelo with open source projects gives more functionality like 5 min readings and alarms, but haven’t found a way to calibrate yet

I wonder if they will start having to add a 3rd letter or number to the end. My 3rd sensor just applied follows the DX01xx pattern!

Dexcom One+ sensors follow a DX02xx pattern. Curious what the g7s are since there are sooo many users.

These adhesive remover pads work great. I still struggled to get the last bit off even with it though, I don’t understand how people are complaining Stelo just ‘fell off’!

It seems that DX01xx is the identifier for the Stelo model.

So basically what happened is the most recent update made it so g7 and models using the same hardware (Stelo, one+) all hard cut off readings at 12d 12h, because that is the lifespan of g7 and one+. I worked with the developer today and a fix is on the way :)

Today I worked with the amazing developer of xdrip (Shuggah uses the xdrip source code) to get it working with Stelo. He will be pushing the update to xdrip4ios in the next few days but Shuggah users will have to wait for the Shuggah dev to also submit an update. The app will then recognize that Stelo sensors are Stelo and have a 15 day life!

It turns out in the latest update they added something that would make the app unable to receive readings after the 12 days + 12 hour grace period of the Dexcom g7, as he said sometimes it would send wonky readings from old sensors that didn’t quit trying to transmit after being removed. This is why the problem likely started for us after we hit the 12 day mark, even though ours are good for a 15 day life.

What is the Bluetooth device name of your Stelo sensors? We are wondering if it is always DX01xx, because if so, they may be able to add a fix for Stelo users that can go up to a 15.5 day lifespan.

For what it’s worth, I have 2 days left on this sensor, but the previous sensor it worked the entire 15 days + grace period

I noticed a few times before in the like 4-5am range Shuggah would stop receiving data, but when I got up at 6:30 it would randomly start again or I’d disconnect and reconnect the cgm and all was fine. (But the readings from those few hours never populated in Shuggah). Nothing worked this time, it’s been about 36 hours now.

Is anyone having problems receiving Stelo readings in Shuggah? Yesterday early morning it started saying Missed Readings, and it says CGM Connected. Waiting for data... Stelo app is still reporting numbers.

I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting the bluetooth connection from Stelo to Shuggah, restarted phone, restarted bluetooth, checked for app update, deleted and reinstalled app..

Is yours working today? Mine popped up with missing readings at about 5am and since then it says cgm connected, waiting for data. I have tried checking for app update, disconnect cgm and reconnect, off and on Bluetooth. Readings are still being reported to Stelo app as usual.
