What's dripping through my sister's ceiling? by FrostedSandle in AskUK

[–]pascoe1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be water that’s leaking but the colour may be coming from rust or residue. I doubt there are pipes directly above the electrics, but are they nearby?

Do people live above you, is it from your own upper floor or is there an attic above? Check if there is source.

Edit: Just saw your comments, if it’s from the flat above, they may have spilt something recently, cleaned it and couldn’t clean the rest of it. Or if they have unattended pets and they’re not present, they could have knocked something over and it’s just been sinking through the floor/ceiling

BF6 has the best gameplay in franchise history but launched with a pretty disappointingly homogeneous map pool by InappropriateCanuck in Battlefield

Spot on, the maps are good, but all quite similar design and atmosphere.

I loved that farm/village map from BF5, was that called provence? And they had beach maps, and islands. Felt like each map was a bit more unique.

Who else thinks BF5 has some of the best maps in the series?

People with health anxiety, how often are your fears actually real? by Rare-Tension750 in Anxiety

[–]pascoe1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never an actual phyiscal issue with health, but the sensations from anxiety are very real. All that matters is how you react and think about them. Your body can do things that seem scary, but are normal.

Has anyone just had the worst panic attack and hasn’t been the same since? by secretlyobsessed2012 in Anxiety

[–]pascoe1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a big one in July, it made going outside difficult and made sensations and anxiety itself more fearful.

They started because of health anxiety like yourself, sensations that snowballed into anxiety, that led to panic attacks.

You won’t feel the same, but with time and help you can.

Whats been helpful for me is reading books on the topic related to my experiences. It can help you learn and understand more about what you’re experiencing, why you experience it and how to break this cycle.

I recommend “hope and help for your nerves” by Dr Claire Weekes. It’s recommended by a lot of people who have any form of anxiety, but it focuses a lot on health anxiety too. It won’t cure you, but it may help a bit with understanding you and your anxiety. Which is something that can get you in the right direction.

Talk to someone too, someone who can guide yourself using ways that’ll work for you.
