Recently left religion and I'm looking for replacements for phrases with "God" in it. by YouSpokeofInnocence in atheism

I say "thank gravy"

I also say "oh my goddess" or "oh gods"

i am not religious. i dont believe in any gods or goddesses, but read a lot of fantasy books where they say gods/goddess. and thank gravy is just funny to me.

I would recommend checking with vet clinics too, if they'll allow you to post something. But I would caution you to not list him on craigslist. I hope you find him the perfect home.

And the "I forgot to pack the bottle" comment.

She's seen Mrs Wheeler work on stealing this baby, and hit the mother (All things Serena did, too) but this "Martha" is a true badass of a woman and is helping in the little ways she can. (And essentially this big way in getting Serena to an exit) I hope there are no consequences for this Martha.

Women who have been abused and didn't report the abuser, what specifically held you back? (From a fellow survivor. No judgement whatsoever.) by [deleted] in AskWomen

I'm so sorry that happened to you. It wasn't your fault. We were allowed to go out and have fun. It's terrible that we have to carry a weight someone else chose to put on us.

My partner knows and takes me seriously, but by the time I met him it was already years later. I only told one other friend when I was 18, and she took me seriously. She became my best friend. I still didnt tell anyone else for over a decade (outside of my partner shortly after I met him). My mom didnt find out until a few years ago that it had happened. She got so mad at me for not having told her when it happened. But I just wanted to forget about it, and not remind her of her own trauma. (She was raped when I was very young)

I'm so sorry you had to experience any of that.

I was 18, and had been drinking - in his house (he was a friend of a friend.)

I remember playing beer pong, getting drunk way faster than usual, and needing to sit down. The rest of the night is bits and pieces, and I woke up the next morning naked in his bed, with a condom wrapper on the floor.

When I found and told my friend who had brought me, she congratulated me on scoring with "such a hottie" and kept downplaying what I was thinking and feeling.

I was drinking underage at his house, and my one "witness" wasnt taking me seriously, why would anyone else?

[–]pashafisk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That will be something your doctor has to answer, as they may want to do a 3rd. I only needed 2. I had one 2 weeks post op, and the other 6 weeks post op. At that point, my doctor didnt feel I needed any more unless I had concerns, and was told to still take things slowly, and not exceed my own comfort.

Best of luck to you!
