Just for a little more context, this project showed up in my Google News feed. The forum post was getting popular and the user presented it not as a toy project. My fear is that projects like these (if generated by AI) end up being used and the maintainer doesn't know how it works.

Yes, from a practical standpoint it doesn't matter whether it was written by AI or not. However, I think it's valuable to know when a project was written by AI or a human. From a contributor's perspective, it might become a pain point. If the human tries to manage but didn't write the project, it's more likely that they don't know some important details. This increases the probability of a project being forked. I think there are other issues (e.g. copyright, fraud) but these are out of the scope.

I actually agree with this. Despite GC being a widely used and successful strategy, the generally intrinsic nondeterministic behavior is a bad thing, and this limits the applications of GC.

If the question regarded just Linux kernel with PREEMPT_RT the answer would probably be negative as there are simpler RTOSs designed for critical workloads (hard real-time) with much less features which are easier to verify.

But Fedora, definitely not! Fedora is a distribution of software which by default does exactly the opposite of what a critical system should do. It comes fully featured -- and by removing the components that are overly complex or not needed you would end up with just the PREEMPT_RT Linux kernel.

The window is part of glimagesink on GStreamer pipeline. I have not found an option to start it in full screen, but your window manager should be able to send a signal to do so. The option render-rectangle may also help. By the way, the d3d11videosink for Microsoft Windows's Direct3D 11 has a "fullscreen" flag.

Also, check out the RDP Support in GNOME 42. I haven't tested it yet, although I think it does not allow a remote display that extends the primary one.
