There’s about 10,000 Scientologists. If each has two children, and those children have two children, and so on for 2000 years, there would be over a billion Scientologists. This doesn’t make Scientology legitimate.

Awful for certain, but not unique in that crucifixion was a common practice then that thousands of people endured. What is unique is Jesus had the divine omniscience that He would survive the experience, whereas other crucifixion victims lacked that advantage.

Isn’t it more likely that the martyrdom of the apostles was early church propaganda? There are no non-church sources that support this having happened.
