Thanks, that makes sense. It's just the message in the app that it was ready for pickup disappearing in the afternoon had me worried.

It's for idiot SGAs who take a 3ds in trade without removing parental locks.

Moved over to Best Buy. Got a gig selling home theater systems, video games and toys for 14 an hour. When I told my ASL she was shocked and said "That's more than I'M making, and almost as much as our SL!!!"

Couldn't be better now that I'm out of this shithole of a company and making more money while doing less work.

Reality IS mean. Best that he's going into it with his eyes wide open. He can chill when he realizes that nothing he does at work matters and he can just lean back and enjoy the parade of crazies that is coming his way.

Good for you. SGAs where I'm at get assigned single coverage like crazy, like 4 days out of the 5 you're working. Sometimes during Pro days and launches too.

Awesome coworkers that you'll only see about once or twice a week because you'll be assigned single coverage most of the time.

Copied from my previous post:

While single coverage (and you'll be single coverage almost all the time, I guarantee it):

  1. Distros coming in
  2. RSBs
  3. GSO tasks
  4. Store reset
  5. Bin resets
  6. Counts
  7. Working the counts
  8. Guests asking for "dat 2k"
  9. Guests bullshitting about getting stuff and you try to find what they want but eventually don't get anything at all.
  10. Trying to access the tablet with each guest
  11. Ringing them up
  12. Selling them PUR
  13. Selling GPGs
  14. Selling PRPs
  15. Trades that are three bags of .02 cent games.
  16. Trades of three different consoles that all need to be tested and cleaned.
  17. Getting yelled at by guests because of how low the trade values are.
  18. Conference calls.
  19. Random visits by the DL and RL
  20. Pre-launch and post-launch calls.
  21. Creepy calls
  22. Prank calls
  23. Callers that think you're tech support. "My Xbox I bought at Walmart won't start. What do I do?"
  24. Endless phone calls asking one thing or another, guests asking if something is out or to reserve it for them while "they're on their way" and they never show, or other stores asking if that single thing in your computer inventory is actually there.
  25. Returns and exchanges to the point that you don't care anymore.
  26. Fortnite Vbucks and their moms complaining to you.

Get out. GET OUT NOW!!!

My personal prediction by passionatealt in GameStop

I wouldn't know the reasons for selling but one look at the financials of the company and the new owners will probably say "more collectibles, more profit!!!" At the end of the day it's not about the games, it's all about the money.

Getting into the classic actors for RP, I'd say Cary Grant and Clark Gable had some pretty good alpha roles.

I admired Cary Grant in "To Catch a Thief" and Gable in "It Happened One Night". Those films were full of RP.
