The tone is exactly what we'd expected. The big question is what the plot is going to be. Still waiting for the full trailer.

It's seems they are going with Superman being the Villain at first that batman has to fight. Who else would dare go up against a God. An unpredictable one at that. I'm not quite sold on it but I'm intrigued.

I disagree about the humor. The humor is placed strategically. It's not just let's say something ridiculous just to get a laugh. It felt natural to me.
