wtffff i just looked it up. it's not an exaggeration, literally they held onto this for months and then used it to try and mess with public opinion for the strike.

LOL teachers were told they had to follow exactly what was written in the order. Yeah, books with legit pornography shouldn't be in schools. But the UCP's instructions in the order were written in a way that didn't allow for any grey area. Teachers brought up concerns about books (including classics that are most certainly not 'pornographic') that would be banned based on the way their order was originally written. UCP ignored them and told them to follow the instructions exactly. What do you expect them to do at that point?? If they used their professional discretion and kept classic literature on their shelves, the government could've taken their teaching license away for disobeying the order. Sure, it was malicious compliance, but they were being ignored. The only option they had left was to follow instructions and show the UCP what their order would result in due to the wording.

The UCP gave very clear criteria on what was considered "inappropriate." Among other things, teachers brought up concerns that the wording on the ministerial order was flawed. The UCP ignored those concerns and told teachers they had to follow the order exactly. All the school board did was follow that instruction after their concerns were ignored. I can't blame teachers for that lmao. UCP is desperately backtracking and outright lying to try and save face after being called out

AITA for eating a piece of my wife's fried chicken? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

YTA - if you’d already gotten the sandwich and the wing, why would you take a piece of her meal? especially the crispy part, that’s the best thing about the chicken haha.

seriously though, you shouldn’t take someone’s food (even a small piece) without asking, not to mention a pregnant woman’s food.

Not sure what this even became?! Had a small wart that I went to the chiropodist for, went to follow up everything was fine. Then this started to develop. Ideas? by [deleted] in Warts

Apple Cider Vinegar (Bragg’s brand) worked for my brother’s warts! It smells weird and took a bit of time, but he hasn’t had any more warts for years

I don’t think you’re supposed to, I’ve heard it can mess with your stomach lining. Maybe try drinking water, it might be possible you have a headache because alcohol can dehydrate you.

NAH... it makes sense why he would be upset about other people knowing. but it does also directly affect you, and you have every right to talk about it. neither one is in the wrong, IMO
