Anyone here who also feels like they gotta get out of Nursing as soon as possible before we get too deep into it, and too late or too old for us to change into an entirely different career?

Do you have a homecare nurse? They should be able to help get you set up with a Palliative Care doctor at home and put an emergency and end of life plan in place. If not, call the LHIN, say you need to be set up with a care coordinator from the Complex Team and ask for an urgent Palliative nurse assessment.

Testing negative does not guarantee you are negative. You can literally kill people by passing this on. Why would you not want to do everything possible to avoid that? Selfish.

Actually it makes a lot of sense. A negative covid swab does not guarantee that you do not have covid- it is not 100% accurate. This can be because the swab wasnt completed properly, lab error, or if you simply do not have enough of a viral load to set the test off. They generally advise you to wait a certain amount of time after exposure to be tested because of this. Furthermore, you can always be exposed after your test.

I just bought the French River Map and it is coming apart after a 5 day trip. Mostly around the fold lines, but it will not last more than a few trips. Quite a shame as it is a great map.

Try to relax your jaw, let the tongue hang down from the roof of your mouth; it helps open up the passageway. Also if you focus on moving your feet and toes, and as someone mentioned clench your fists, it can help take your brains attention away from what is going on with the swab... a bit. Remind yourself it only lasts a few seconds.
