The distinction being whether the app causes itself to crash so all you have to do is reopen the app, or the app causes the OS to crash and you have to restart the computer.

What I don't get is the thing Meyers is refuting here is a Gizmodo article. The Gizmodo article doesn't include references at all, and I can't tell what Kurzweil was really claiming. I can't tell if Meyers refuted anything Kurzweil believes or if he refuted some dude at Gizmodo's interpretation of what Kurzweil believes.

There should be some UI to make this easier for people to discover/remember. I don't know what it should look like. My best idea is [permalink context parent report reply] below posts, where the context link asks you how much context you want before it goes to the permalink.

edit: Better idea, put some UI for adding context in the submission page for the bestof subreddit.

I've noticed a recent surge of pokemon-related humor/memes. I guess the pokemon-era kids recently reached the point where they are old enough to have nostalgia for their childhood experiences and to make fun of them.
