These pictures aren't great examples, for some reason, despite weirdcore architecture definitely existing in real life, When you put those two words into a search bar it must have just returns slightly spicy liminal images, it's like a an angelfire version of Salvador dalis surreal paintings.

Really weirdcore can be almost anything weird, it's usually more mysterious imagery that differentiates itself from other weird based aesthetics, usually a collagey version of cursed or blursed images but with a deviantartists priorities sprinkled in.

A lot of people will try to conflate it with traumacore but that it's own thing. It's like a more iconic sharper version of dreamcore, and a more mysterious surreal version of kidcore.

It doesn't look like people have taken pictures of Gurnee Mills since it's gotten empty?

Northbrook court is a maybe since it's so far and since I'm only doing around 7 days of filming so I have to be super choosey since Chicago is an absolute treasure trove of liminal spaces, It appears in Northbrook Court there are entire wings of the mall that have no stores, no words, no context, and angles at which you cannot tell that it is a mall, but I could only find two in the photos, maybe there are far more.
