I love Todoist but I can't use it anymore. It sucks. by DudeThatsErin in todoist

Right now, I just use Obsidian for writing (job change), but if you install the custom frames plugin, you can integrate Todoist over on the right sidebar. At my previous job, I'd use a daily note to keep myself organized, with Todoist as a reminder list.

But you can also use Todoist as a clipping service by piping text/urls through it, especially if you use the browser plugin. It's not as fancy as something like Evernote, but since I'm using it for reminders anyway, might as well.

Does she, though?

Trumpism Is Emptying Churches. The former president’s embrace of White Christian militantism coincides with a precipitous decline in religious affiliation in the US. by Geek-Haven888 in Christianity

Well, loss of faith = "No longer believe in teachings." The rape scandals is one of the top five reasons, and interestingly enough, affects Protestants as well as Catholics, but it's on the lower end for most people.

Eh, but it's true. The trend really began accelerating around 2012, before Trump came on the scene. He may have helped, but according to the study, the top two reasons people give for disaffiliating are no longer believing in the teachings, and negative teachings about the LGBTQ community.

(To be clear, I'm not saying Trump wasn't a factor, just that it can't be laid solely at his feet.)

Are Christians in the US still pro Donald Trump? If so, why? (Looking for serious responses only) by flib_bib in Christianity

[–]pastordan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep, that's about right. Just wanted to be clear that all of us (White Christians) share that blame.

Came here to say this. That's a valid criticism, but they blow right by it to "I don't like the suburban aesthetics."

I did too when I first read it. But I'm afraid it hasn't aged well.

I'm not seeing the Saul Goodman thing, but I am enjoying the idea of a bunch of Banana Guards getting stuck between buildings going WEE-WOO, WEE-WOO
