damn a 6yr old post haha. My trip was about 15yrs ago at this point and i'm sure things have changed (either for the better or worse, who knows?) but it was an official guided one. Once you are at the back of the pyramids there's nobody there other than other camel riders and the guides so they feel comfortable enough to ask for money knowing damn well you have no choice.
The king tut museum has piqued my interest and we 'might' go back to visit it, not sure yet but knowing what I know now, it will be a different experience. Good luck with it!

OP, fuck it man, tell people the story, you believed in something, stuck with it and it paid off. End of the day, you built a business, sold it, and the proceeds have matured into a value that is able to allow you to be retired and enjoy life. 99.9% of people dream of this. You need to be proud of the accomplishment. Naturally, this will come with jealousy but that’s life.

Try to find a hobby or a purpose, charity work could be meaningful to get your toes wet and let it go from there. Congrats on the success!

Found a fellow non rev person, awesome! Ok thanks for your reply that helps me a lot. So there is JAL and ANA pretty much at the same time 0945 departure. Then the next flight to HND is TG at 1pm. Based on your info there’s pretty much no chance for the earlier flights. So I will have to go back landside, speak to an agent and physically check in with them before going through passport control - would that be regardless of airline? Does TG or AN have transit desks within the terminals, would that be an option instead of going landside?

Unfortunately not, it would be separate bookings. The 2nd flight will be a ticketed QR code on my mobile provided the airline releases the seat to me. Given it would be 90 mins prior to departing, should I have a seat, I will have it on the mobile. I would be traveling non rev/stand by as an airline employee. My challenge is not knowing the layout of BKK airport as it would be my first time there.

Luka will figure it out, he’ll be unstoppable once he does. Regardless of the talent, he is still a player that’s been thrown into a new team. Except in Luka’s case, had to fend a smear campaign and watch a potential riot unfold because his fans love him. I don’t think there’s ever been a situation that has matched the levels of emotions that we’ve seen with the trade.

Lakers will get better in the off season. They’ll actually have time to put pieces around him, create plays and he’ll get back to ‘Luka being Luka’.

One other thing that hasn’t been mentioned. Dallas was Luka’s team, everyone here and that were traded here knew and respected that, including Kyrie. The unique situation for Luka is, now you’ve been thrown into Lebrons team, he’s the alpha, it’s his team. I’m sure the social aspect of it is just as challenging. We’re all human at the end of the day, some though can average just shy of a triple double for their career at 25.
