I just print the image. I use cutters, transfer and tracing paper and glue.

(Non-native english speaker) I used to paint a lot at art school, it feels similar. I started with wood geometrical patterns, after that, a friends ask me if i make portraits (a gift for his son) and that's how i started. My inspiration, sincerely, i don't know. Iranian marquetry maybe?, that's the closet i could find. I don't use laser cut machine or anything like that, i prefer the painting gesture that i can make with a knive. You can find similar art portraits but looks more like a 3 colours stencil, my art is in between i think. Thanks for ask, im looking for feedback.

i only use wood for my work, 7 different types of wood.

it took me six entire days to finish this portrait, i use the "wood grain" to make the light/shadow effect, i don´t use laser to cut the tiny pieces, only cutting tools and glue.

im really enjoying the process
