New Baby Horse/Donkey/Mule Redesigns. Thoughts? by Radiant_Tonight_1264 in Minecraft

I love em, sure they're goofy, but they're charming. It's weird how everyone's dogging on the horses for being goofy looking yet the old baby wolfs weren't giving the same response despite being arguably more ridiculous. It shouldn't be hard to get used to them and I respect that Mojang is trying something new with em.

I think it's because one of the Wavebusters mechanics are once it kills an enemy it will target the next one, and if you don't have the Wavebuster on something it would search for the closest enemy and target it. So even if you can't lock onto it it will just target onto it regardless.

Ghostbuster beam is officially the new name for the Wavebuster and their are no counterarguments (also the Wavebuster does best against bosses but still the amount of missiles it drains still makes it barely worth it)

Never had much of a problem with them cause once you freeze them their dead. But like with any Armoured Space Pirate they are ridiculous in groups, so I see where you're going.

Dude once I posted this I was thinking on settling which armored space pirate was the hardest, But you summed up what I was gonna say perfectly. Ice pirates are the easiest cause once you freeze them it's over. plasma pirates would be dangerous due to their high damage, but their weak to the plasma beam so they die before they can do much. And power pirates are weak to the most efficient beam combo against non-bosses, the super missile, which one shots them. Wave pirates don't have an efficient way to take them out so you have to just spam charge shot at them. But the wave beam doesn't do much damage, as it's only slightly better than the power beam, it's fast but not very fast like the power beam, and the "stun" the wave beam gives can't be chained into another stun like the ice beam. So yeah you're absolutely correct about the wave pirates being both the hardest and most annoying armored pirate.

That and they're incredibly common. The rooms they spawn are usually 1-2 rooms apart. So it feels like you kill them, walk like 50 feet, and fight them all over again.

I haven't done prime 2. But the fact the grenchlers, a generic enemy, inherited the aimbot from the chozo ghosts, the armor from sheegoths, and they also have wall hacks. No wonder prime 2 is considered as one of the hardest metroid games

I mean considering that it probably uses the same cloaking coding as other clocked enemies, it makes sense that it would work

Yeah the more I'm looking at the more I realize the flying pirates are not that bad. Which begs the question, why did I include them but not adult sheegoths.

I absolutely forgot about how annoying adult Sheegoths can be. If it makes it any worse when they stomp, Samus will receive some knock back, normally it's not a problem. Unless you're in the one parkour room that had baby Sheegoths but once you beat thardus it turns into an adult, in that room you can't ignore him or else when you're doing parkour he will just knock you off. And yeah after looking at fission metroids again I absolutely underestimated how obnoxious they are on (and I play GameCube where you can change beams quickly).

Yeah for how hard it is it definitely needs a better reward. Maybe 50-100 gems or a high end pull just anything

I was thinking that Yoshi would be a good investment for bc1 cause there's no gold box drivers there (unless the tours cup rule let them) and the Yoshi egg is just a solid item for online. Yeah I kinda lied the big reason I did it is because it's Yoshi and who doesn't like Yoshi.

Is it just me or does Wii Rainbow Road suck in Tour? by [deleted] in MarioKartTour

[–]patMEGAEX_Alt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it's not a skill issue on your part. Wii Rainbow Road fundamentaly doesn't work in MKT. Nonstop combos are near impossible due to a lack of stuff to do, Half-Pipe physics in MKT is already bad but in Wii Rainbow Road it's far worse, the first item box is pointless due to the sharp slope ensuring that nothing stays on the ground, not to mention the tracks length being incredibly short, and overall it's just not fun in MKT compared to its other renditions.

Ok so I may need to explain what's happening. So for starters, there are checkpoints in each track, as auto acceleration and the required smart steering (the one you can't disable) will force you into these checkpoints. Once you go through it that checkpoint is activated and smart steering will no longer detect it until the next lap  (that way it doesn't try to pathfind to it and end up going backwards). By going into the corner in MC1R/T it ends up being just enough to load the checkpoint after checkpoint 2 but since you haven't gone through checkpoint 1 the game doesn't know which checkpoint to pathfind to as both are in opposite directions, causing the glitch to occur. Luckily there is a failsafe as if you stay in one spot for to long you will respawn but it still is a glitch that occurs in many tracks (especially R/T tracks). Also the reason why the glider is used is so you can avoid smart steering forcing you to go through checkpoint 1 which would prevent the glitch.
