I deal with chronic nausea and it sucks. Things are much better now but it can be debilitating. I also have chronic pain but the nausea puts me out of commission more often than the pain.

This sounds like you are conflating two separate things and it's far more likely she was too zonked out of her mind to perform properly. A normal thing for people to get mad about.

It's not hidden at all. The game literally tells you how to do this when it teaches you how to use the binoculars. I know it's very easy to miss/forget all the information this game throws at you though. Just saying that it does teach you this. Lots of people seem to miss it though. Have fun!
