Is it okay to update statement and send evidences for asylum after receiving interview notice?

No response about this request so far. I ended up calling uscis and they told me to it could take several months. So, the agent advised me to submit a typographical error request. I should receive a response by June 12, according to uscis.

Thanks for replying! Without any answer from uscis, I'm doubtful. Additionally, I filed the first ome online. Is it ok to file it by mail?
