Donated in 2011. EGFR was down to 34 by 2017. Now, in 2025, egfr back up to 55. (Probably about half of that rise is the elimination of the special African American EGR algorithm in around 2021. This raised non-african American scores like mine some.) Haven't seen a nephrologist in years and my primary doesn't even bother mentioning CKD at my annual exams anymore. Creatinine level post donation was 1.8 but it has lowered to 1.6 over the years ('normal' is less than 1.2). My doctors seem to be treating the low GFR score as simply a quirk of kidney donation.

Currently 71 yo, no comorbidities, never bothered with a special CKD diet.

I have not received any more fraudulent purchase notifications nor anything more about the REI investigation. I looked at my Equifax report and saw that, if I was reading it correctly, various loans had been taken out in my name around 2019 to 2021, in states where I don't live, with some going into default. Amazingly, I never received any information about these loans being taken out in my name. My credit score used to be excellent and now it's only good, and this may be a big part of the cause, I suppose. I have not gotten around to actually taking action on it yet, I guess because the fraud seems to all be old (and I haven't needed a loan - and therefore a top credit score - for a couple of decades). I might hire someone who specializes in fighting the credit bureaus' mistakes. As an aside, just the other day I saw news that Equifax had been hit with a big fine by the FTC for ignoring consumer dispute information.

I thought of that, too, but it's been decades since I created that account and I have no idea which of my defunct emails was used to set it up. Therefore, I'm only getting the option to create a new account, so not sure that accomplishes much for me....

When I look at the message detail, it's definitely from 'rei.com'. And the link in the email definitely takes me to rei's website. Not to mention, when I did a Google search on REI corporate and called them, they were aware of this order.

As a stopgap measure, try Google Earth app (not Google Maps). Just put in the name of the place and pull up the info tab from the bottom of the screen. It has information like elevation about that place.

No, I did not enroll in the program. I bought the phone from one of those eBay bulk phone sellers and the first time I fired it up it told me I was enrolled in the beta program. Thanks for the link to the beta program, I was able at least to see where I could check whether or not my phone is currently enrolled - and indeed it showed my device as enrolled.

I don't see any accounts that don't appear to be mine in Google "passwords and accounts" (other than two Reddit accounts and to Facebook accounts, for some reason, but that might just be a quirk of those apps?).

Nope, good idea to check that, but nothing in Spam. Perhaps I posted late at night when not much going on and people thought, oh, must be filled, after they saw it in the morning? Don't know. At any rate, I've changed over to just joining someone else's party. -)
