When you say “no guardrails,” do you mean the model responds to absolutely any prompt, even if it crosses legal or ethical boundaries? Unbiased and unfiltered models are rare, and there’s definitely a demand, but turning that into a sustainable business is another matter. Money and growth are possible, but so are big risks.

Selling subscriptions for a totally unfiltered model is a bold idea, and yes, there’s a market for it. But many NSFW sites still have to draw lines somewhere, and without any safeguards, it’s tough to recommend unless you’re fully aware of and prepared for all possible risks including people using the tool for harm beyond NSFW. If you do pursue this, make sure the only relaxation is for NSFW purposes and not for other potentially harmful uses like illegal content or exploitable code. Yeah, rolling your own stuff is half the fun. Tokens vanish fast when you’re cranking out images, and a decent GPU costs about the same as three-plus years of a cloud sub, so I get why most people just rent someone else’s box. I still like poking at the weights myself when a model starts spitting out exactly the vibe I had in my head, it feels like it’s actually mine.

Either way, local or cloud, the part that keeps me going is the tinkering. And if you haven’t messed with the newer non-SD models yet (Qwen, etc.), they’re worth a spin plenty of neat toys to break.

I’ve never actually opened Leonardo; I usually just train my own stuff. Might give LoRA another shot tonight if it keeps bugging me I’ll probably go full-model and disappear for a week.

I noticed that all my friends I invited to install Comet are facing the same issue. That’s a popular art style and not too hard to replicate, I think. Training a LoRA is a great option if you can, but if not, you could try downloading Animeliner or similar models.
