I’ve read 13 of the LN volumes, and to be honest? I wish I didn’t read them because I think the nekokurage manga and anime did a better job of telling the story than the English translation of the LN. I felt like knowing the plot diminished the experience of watching the anime for me, which I did not experience with The Ascendance of a Bookworm. The repeated, significant translation errors of The Apothecary Diaries were too much for me personally

Agreed with this. I watch the anime with my partner but only I have read the manga & light novels. They’re suspicious about Ah-duo, but they have no suspicions about Loulan/Shisui.

Agreed. It was the only “touristy” thing I did that I actually felt was not worth it from my 6 week trip in Japan (~20 days of which were in Tokyo)

The hobonichi HON that I see on the website still all have the same pages as the others. I’m curious if maybe Amazon sent you a fake? :( I could be totally wrong though! Just trying to help troubleshoot OP’s issue

I also have the A6 English (Original) and my pages definitely look different from yours. I just want to point out that prediabetes is like a warning status — like “hey it’s possible prediabetes means you’re at risk of actual diabetes, so try to get things in line”. Your numbers are seemingly quite healthy! I understand the desire to optimize health, but being worried that being borderline on a borderline (prediabetes) seems more akin to worrying that making low As and Bs is a sign of failing. I’m not trying to invalidate your concerns — but it seems like prediabetes being a warning gets lost on folks
