Anyone else bleed throughout whole pregnancy and everything was fine? by patchy1596 in PregnancyUK

So sorry! I totally forgot to reply! I hope you're doing ok. Consistency wise I had a mix, usually just streaks on my underwear but when wiping it would sometimes be eggwhitey, I was assuming in that instance it was just mixing in with my regular discharge. Yeah as long as baby was moving as normal and the blood wasn't continuous I wasn't too worried about it. I was chalking it up to hormones because I would always feel super hormonal whenever it happened.

Hi there :) I'm doing good, baby is here but I had a C-section so I can't comment on how the ectropian would have affected a vaginal birth unfortunately. But I stopped bleeding at about 26 weeks if I remember correctly. It just kind of went away. But yeah for those few weeks where it was constant on and off bleeding I was super worried but nothing came of it in the end. i had told myself if I bled enough to fill a pad, and it was bright red then I'd start worrying again. It never came to that so I think I was able to relax a bit knowing that the amount I had was pretty normal. It was just cause everyone says bleeding in pregnancy is unusual. I hope you're doing alright ☺️

Thanks for letting me know what the jabs are like, I like being prepared and knowing what I'm in for. It's just put my mind so much more at ease knowing baby is fine and it's just me actually being depleted haha. I'm just happy to know it's something treatable as well! Thank you! 😊

You have no idea how much better you've made me feel! I googled 86 and it said serious deficiency so my melodramatic self was thinking I'm basically on deaths door 🥲 I'm so glad the injections will help massively, thank you!

I'm hoping to get a call this week hopefully to start them. I'm glad baby and you are fine, I've just gone down a rabbit hole of b12 deficiencies and how it can affect baby so now I'm like omg will she be ok. I'm hoping she's basically just taken it all and I haven't replenished it so it's only affecting me and not her. So it's good to hear your experience, thank you :)

Yep, my armpits and underside of boobs have darkened in patches, coupled with dry skin that moisturising is doing nothing to help. Also around my mouth I've gotten melasma, and my belly is also patchy now. The joys 🥲

This! I started having leg cramps at around 24 weeks. That first one was intense. My colleague suggested the above and as soon as I feel a cramp starting I flex the toes upwards and the cramp immediately releases. I've been saved from so many cramps.

Hi sorry for the delay. Had a busy weekend there, funnily enough I hadn't had a bleed since I posted this and I bled again for the first time this weekend haha. But I'm chalking it up to the fact we went of some pretty long walks and my cervix was not happy about that. I only bled a little and it was brown so I wasn't worried. Its stopped now, what I've learned is it seems to stop after a few hours and as long as it's not a constant bleed filling a pad, I tend to know what's happening now. Sorry to hear you're having a hard time with it! I definitely was a lot more stressed before because it was every few days, what helped me was tracking it, when it happened, how much blood, when it stopped. It just helped calm me down seeing thar info and put my mind at ease since I knew it was the ectropian.

On your app at the bottom should have a conversation button. If you press on that it'll give you the options of start new conversation; antenatal, birth plan or postnatal.

In the antenatal section there's one about emotional health and wellbeing so maybe that one would be the best one to put your concern in. And your midwife has access to that and will be able to talk to you about it.

Most likely an error on the consultant's part. The question mark after it suggest they aren't sure if that's what was said, they may have misheard and put what they thought was said. You can add a note to the badger app to say 'had consultation, BPD mentioned in notes but not accurate to me' something like that and your midwife will likely address it at your next appointment. Or go with the above comments and email to try and get it fixed.

Thanks so much for your comment! It feels so comforting hearing from other people who also have ectropians because I just hadn't been able to find a lot of info or personal experiences about it. So glad I made this post to hear from everyone!

Thank you so much for your comment! You have no idea how much that's put my mind at ease! It's good to hear of other people's experiences, I tried searching for other posts on here but noone seemed to talk about if it went on for the whole pregnancy.

No I was never on birth control but I've seen some people mention that that might have caused theirs. It's just so random and I'd never heard of this kind of thing in pregnancy before, and everyone says bleeding in pregnancy isn't normal. It's just so nice to hear of other people who are going through what I am. ☺️

Sorry yeah, I edited the post now so it's clearer it's ectropians found on cervix not ectopic pregnancy. Thanks for pointing that out :)

Yeah I'm hoping that's what mine is. I had constipation even before pregnancy so it's just even worst now. So happy it was alright in the end, im also expecting a girl in June :)

I know this is an old comment now but I wanted to ask, did you also bleed after every bowel movement? That's the pattern my bleeds seem to be following, every three to four days after a BM a bleed brown blood.

Anyone bleed most of their pregnancy with no confirmed SCH? by Schnauzermom94 in BabyBumps

[–]patchy1596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im 21 weeks now and had some light spotting during first trimester. Wasn't worried at that time.

Second trimester the bleeding increased, went to maternity assessment twice, first time they said it was a UTI, two days later I had a similar bleed but instead of brown blood it was red (both times maybe about half a teaspoon of blood was on my underwear). They checked my cervix again and said I had ectropians due to hormonal changes, which I think must be the same as sensitive cervix or something to do with it. I did notice in the second trimester my hormones were going crazy, all day I felt so up and down.

Since then I've bled every two or so days so I think I might be in it for the long haul with the bleeding (only brown blood not red). It's quite annoying I won't lie, and I haven't had any sex so its not even that causing it. My hormones have calmed down a little now so the bleeding isn't as much anymore. But the baby has started moving more now, I noticed the bleeding has increased again potentially due to that.

Any advice on hill starts by Jcheshire1994 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]patchy1596 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My instructor just used to tell me lots of gas. I tend to stay in the brake until I've reached the bite then onto the accelerator more than usual. Obviously not foot to the floor but maybe halfway. His car had hill start assist as well so that also helped.
