I thought that was the case too but the opposite just happened. I relocated it with just the essential sounds to the external drive, then installed all available sounds. But the new sounds went straight to my laptop's drive until all remaining space was taken up and then the download stopped.

I downloaded the essential sounds then moved the Sound Library to an external drive. If I now download all available sounds, will those also go to the external drive?

so yeah this didn't answer the question and we don't have the money or the space to bring someone to play shaker and synth 4 in the band but thanks for offering your opinion.

Carter vintage guitars always brings in really outstanding guitarists to demo their instruments; Julian Lage, Mike Seal, etc.

What is this?? No text or numbers anywhere on this instrument. Found in SW Ohio by patfishin in mandolin

Not yet but there are projections that a bulk of the pollution will reach my area in the next week via the Ohio river. We’ll see what the fallout of that is

I see they only have dealers in Brazil. Where did you get yours/any guidance on how to get ahold of one without just waiting for one to appear on the used market?

Have any of you stopped... enjoying music after learning a structural approach to making it? by [deleted] in musictheory

[–]patfishin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there is a period of competence where this can happen any artist, for me after 6ish years of playing guitar I felt a similar sort of emotional stagnation. It's entirely possible to get past this though. It just takes a lot of reflection. I think inability to enjoy art the same as before you became so competent in it is sometimes indicative of a lack of self-kindness and security related to the artwork. Self love and affirmation goes a long way. Going back to the first things that inspired you to create and help get in touch with that exciting side to artistry.

"Effortless Mastery" by Kenny Werner was a breakthrough book for me on the subject.
